Sophia was born and raised on Long Island, NY in a traditional Levit house that her parents built an extension on themselves. Growing up, her mom did various home improvement projects around the house that really got her interested in doing these sorts of things herself! As a kid, Sophia would go to friend's homes and loved seeing how their families renovated the same cookie cutter houses to be something unique. After buying her first home in Colorado, she enjoyed renovating and putting her own touches on it. Now that Sophia and her family live in North Carolina, surprisingly, nothing has changed, and she's already jumped into numerous home improvement projects.

Sophia has a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Psychology from Stony Brook University. After college, she worked as a paramedic for a private company, but eventually got into the FDNY. With the FDNY, Sophia attained numerous certifications and after rigorous training became a Rescue Paramedic.

At home, her toddler, Bowie, and two dogs, Hiccup and Rocketship keep her on her toes!

She enjoyed the process of buying and selling her own home so much, that she quickly got her North Carolina RE license so that she could help others with their home journeys. Sophia comes from a fast-paced, high stress job in pre-hospital care, but sees no difference in buying a home.
